📍 Where It All Started

I’ve always admired people who take risks and turn ideas into reality. That’s probably why, in 2007, I jumped into entrepreneurship and launched my first business – a tanning studio with five beds. (Yes, it’s legal in Hungary.)

That’s when I learned the hard way: starting a business is one thing, but running it profitably is a whole different game. So, I went all-in on marketing: workshops, books, trial-and-error until I cracked the code on creative, data-driven growth.

 

📈 The Facebook Growth Hack Before It Was a Thing

Back in 2008-2009, when Facebook marketing was in its infancy, we launched one of the first industry-specific Facebook apps that exchanged data for incentives. The result? Tens of thousands of followers, a massive win for a local business at the time.

We didn’t just sell. We entertained. We created content that made people laugh, think, and engage. It worked so well that we even made national headlines with one of our story. That strategy kept us profitable for 10 years, until we successfully exited in 2015.

🌏 Australia Bound – And Another Business Launched in 2 Weeks

2 years after a short trip to Sydney, I decided to permanently stay and within two weeks, I launched my next business: The Billion Roses.

We were the first in Australia to introduce roses that last a year, and it took off like wildfire. We scaled fast, thanks to:
🔥 Over 100 influencer collabs (Tammy Hembrow, Showpo, Meshki, White Runway, etc.)
📲 A social-first strategy that made us the #1 brand in the industry
🎯 PPC campaigns with super-healthy ROAS & MER

Running The Billion Roses taught me how to scale a brand, lead a team, manage complex operations, and negotiate with influencers, clients, and stakeholders.

💡 Growth Marketing in Action: Flight Risk & Fone King
Fast forward to 2024, I led the ecom brand launch for Flight Risk, Australia’s newest e-bike brand. In just three months, we achieved:

🔍 15+ ROAS on Google Shopping & Search

At the same time, I worked on a massive Shopify migration for Fone King, successfully transitioning 4,000+ SKUs to the new platform.
