Agency owner. Ad obsessive. The guy who can't stop thinking about why some ads work and most don't.
Started in Hungary. Ended up in Australia. Somewhere in between, picked up a few degrees — mostly to realise none of them teach you how ads actually work.
Been in the game long enough to see trends come and go. Ran ads for startups, scaled brands, and companies with more budget than sense. Built a few businesses along the way too — which changes how you look at things very quickly.
Spent over $10M on ads. Learned that most of what people obsess over doesn't matter as much as they think. Creative does.
Now running Kliks — working with brands that want ads to actually drive revenue — and building Ad Junkies, where I share what's actually happening behind the scenes.
Moved to Sydney about a decade ago. Met Danielle. Now dad to two — which means less sleep, more perspective.
Most days run on coffee. Read more than I probably should. Weekends are slower — coffee, playgrounds, swimming.
I don't think ads are complicated.
I think people are. And if you understand them properly, the rest becomes execution.
"Most people don't dare to be a little controversial or opinionated. But that's exactly what breaks the silence — and the pattern — almost every time."
